After the Olympics are over, we are getting rid of cable. Hooray! We'll simply buy Battlestar Galactica from itunes and get Good Eats late from a friend. Those are the only two things I watch on television on purpose. Everything else I watch just seems to *happen* to me.
Also, Joshua and I figured out last night that the reason I feel like I have no time is that I have no time. Literally. I stumble around for an hour eating breakfast and packing my lunch before work, and after work I have only two and a half hours to make, eat, and clean up dinner, do my statistics homework, and do any chores that might be lucky enough to get done. THERE IS NO TIME. It makes me feel better that we did the math and it turns out this is not a personal failing on my part or something. Though it would probably be good to have some sort of different life. I might feel better about it if my job actually supported both of us, or like, one and a half of us, but it doesn't even come close.

I feel like less of a person because at no time in the last 4 months was I able to spend 3-4 hours straight at the laundromat watching my rugs wash themselves. So I have bare floors and a pile of stinky rugs that I'm pretty sure the cats have peed on on at least one occasion.
Also, I really want to cook a nice Shabbos dinner every Friday, but that entails shopping and cleaning and time to cook, so instead I end up getting in a big fight because I am too f-ing tired and grumpy to eat dinner at 10:00 at night.
Also, my mother needs to stop inviting us to visit every weekend, because, oh, the guilt.
